Which mounting type do I need?
Pool lights are installed in four ways: 1.5-inch threaded nicheless, 1.5-inch push-fit, screw-fixed wall mount and PAR56 recessed. The type is decided by the pool wall and the fitting already there, so it comes before wattage or colour.
AC 12V or DC 12V — what is the difference?
They are two different supplies and they are not interchangeable. An AC 12V light runs from a transformer; a DC 12V light runs from a power supply. “12V” on its own does not say which one a light needs, so the input type is stated per model.
How many cable cores does a colour light need?
For DC 12V: single colour 2 cores, warm + cool white 3 cores, RGB 4 cores, RGBW 5 cores. AC 12V colour lights run on 2 cores with a different control method. The exact configuration is confirmed per model.
Can I use a third-party controller?
Only tested combinations are published. A light that replaces an existing one mechanically is not automatically compatible with a proprietary AC two-core control system; that is assessed separately.
Can you make our own version?
OEM and ODM projects are discussed from a target specification through a confirmed sample. What can be changed is agreed per project.
